History of Marengo

The idea of creating high-quality vermouth has emerged since the founding of the plant in 1982. That is why this figure is embossed on the symbolism of Marengo. There has been a long way from the idea to the production, so in 2001 the first bottle of Marengo was born at the Koblevo winery.

In 2014, we created Brut and Semi-Sweet sparkling wines, the first bottling of which took place in February 2015. For them, we used our own wines from Chardonnay, Aligoté and Riesling grapes.

The main ingredient of our vermouth is grapes, from which we produce the highest quality wine for Marengo. Our technologists have long experimented with different varieties of European grapes and different combinations of herbs and spices to get a balanced taste and aroma that you enjoy.
